and props to bj penn for defending his title against sean "the muscle shark" sherk. sean had (and still has) an impressive record coming into this fight. somewhere inside i was looking for sherk to win. not that i didn't want bj to win, but sherk has gone through a lot in the past couple of months. i sometimes like to root for the underdog.

my hero jardin got dropped in the first by wanderlei silva. that was so disappointing. at least wandy taught me how to throw a mean counterpunch. jardin will be back. all it takes is one punch, either way.
