and props to bj penn for defending his title against sean "the muscle shark" sherk. sean had (and still has) an impressive record coming into this fight. somewhere inside i was looking for sherk to win. not that i didn't want bj to win, but sherk has gone through a lot in the past couple of months. i sometimes like to root for the underdog.

last night, my brother played at Opera/Crimson like he does every Wednesday night. the difference this time? DJ AM and Jazzy Jeff put on a show for a few hours. They have 4 turntables and they both scratch and stuff. I wasn't really impressed. not worth what that guy asks for in terms of money.

long story short, AM is just another 5'7'' guy with an ego problem. sucks because the first DJ I saw in hollywood was that guy. we used to rep him when his nights sucked and no one would go. Couple years down the road and he thinks he's yahweh's gift to the DJ scene.

as if his attitude problem weren't enough, you stole my brother's headphones! give them back you thief.

i need a new phone

due the numerous amount of times that i've dropped my phone, i can't receive text messages. Or rather, when i receive text messages, my bloody phone freezes and I never receive the text. I then have to restart the damn thing. This sucks especially when you send out a text and wait for hours wondering if the person you sent the text to blew you off or actually responded. wtf.

lots of good TV tonight

i rarely wathch TV since i'm at school. But now that i'm home for the summer...let's watch TV. Monday was the Hills, tonight is the ultimate fighter, and thursday is LOST. And then there are sports games. I like soccer, and today at 1PM PST Real Madrid is playing barca. Awesome. Tonight the Los Angeles Kobe Bryants are playing the Utah jazz. Super. Like I mentioned, tonight is the ultimate fighter. Thanks to this program I have on my computer, I can watch programs in EST. that way, I can watch teh UF when the Laker game is on. Cool. Why do I have to do this you ask? Because tonight my brother is DJing with DJ AM and Jazzy Jeff. So, you see, I'll be out of the house come 10:00.

i'm coming home again

just took that POI exam. It was hard. i think I should consider changing my major, haha.

this was a rough week. BFM and FONE paper due yesterday. MS and POI exam today. Going home tomorrow morning. Done with junior year. did I mention my birthday was Friday? totally passed me by. no fucking cake or anything. here's to getting smashed on sunday. regardless of how tests came out this semester.
