basketball
georgetown basketball...stop being lazy
roy hibbert step up, stop being lazy
jeremiah rivers...you need work. stop being timid
what a disappointment
maybe i'll still watch the tournament. either way, from now i'm rooting for North Carolina and a dude that plays with heart, Tyler Hansborough.
Best of luck to Jonathan Wallace and Jesse Sapp in the future, the only guys who do their jobs every time. Pat Ewing, good work stepping up. 6th man definately AT LEAST.
what the fvck man...seriously 17 point lead????
Now i'll be studying the rest of the semester.
there's always next year. the freshmen look solid

easter at georgetown
it's likely that i'll be chilling here this whole break. turns out we get monday off too, which I didn't know. And come to find out, my professor cancelled class on wednesday. go figure. long story short, I should have missed all of March. maybe next semester...
to celebrate easter this sunday/saturday night, I will be buying maybe half a dozen cup cakes and then eating them all consecutively at 12:01am sunday morning. in case you didn't know, i gave up sweet for lent. I haven't had any solid sugary substance for nearly 40 days. man is it killer. I plan on buying the cake form Georgetown Cupcake, this shop that opened right off of M Street. Smart move to be cashing in on the cupcake craze as is begins to spread to the east coast.
Lots of advances dropped this past week. Albums include R.E.M. and the Kooks. Look out for Panic at the Disco's album "Pretty Odd."
i'll be checking in later on in the week. i'll probably be djing a lot in my apartment since there is probably going to be nothing to do for a while.
Of course, my boredom can be solved with a few clicks of a button. Anyone want to buy me a ticket home? i was looking to fly virgin america...

DC store on Melrose
the crew and I went to see rob dyrdek and the dc skate team today at the DC store on Melrose. His presence nearly caused a riot. The police showed up as the line wrapped around the store and into the street. He seems like a really cool dude. We got an autograph and a free t shirt. Afterwards we headed to Burton where it was dead. We were going to buy something, like a new skateboard, but we chose to wait for a friend who can get a sweet employee discount. I'll take my skateboard to georgetown soon enough.
the other night All Time Low was on Jimmy Kimmel Live. They performed "dear maria, count me in." I downloaded their 2 albums immediately. You can see them on tour with the Rocket Summer on the AP tour.
in other news, I got my hair cut on friday. not as short as I wanted it but whatever.
spring forward son! do work!

worst headache ever
those of you who know me best know that I don't drink fluids often. the times i do i feel great. when i don't...i get a bad headache.
today my brother and I went to the getty over here in LA. it's an art museum for those of you who don't know. We walked the whole thing in about 2 hours while also stopping to get lunch. I of course didn't really drink any water with my meal. Man do I regret that. if you see me eating a meal without water, please tell me. I got the worst headache tonight i could barely function. it was really bad.
luckily i feel okay now. the getty was dope. here's to doing something cool again tomorrow. later dudes

anderson silva
i opted out of going to the club tonight to stay home and watch UFC 82. Anderson Silva fought Dan Henderson. Henderson put up a decent fight, controlling Silva most of the first round. Unfortunately, Silva came out dancing in the second and Henderson couldn't keep up. Henderson got rocked in the clinch and down he went. Silva got his back and choked him out. That was it. I honestly thought that Henderson could take him. No one can beat Anderson Silva. That is why every time he fights, I cheer for the other guy. Silva is like a Black Bruce Lee. He's lean and very agile. I wish I had his skills.
anyway, there's a nice diplo remix of flashing lights that i think you should check out. here's a link to the page where you can grab it.
in other news, i'm thinking of applying to some southwest and wal-mart internships. their hq's are in Texas and Arkansas, respectively. I figure their two of the more successful corporations in the US. why not work for them. damn, i'll do it for free. Of course there is always the unpaid internship at the ford modeling agency. that would be nice too i guess. right now, i'll take whatever i can get. anything but fast food, i can't do that.
