tonight was another night of more applications. i submitted the wrong resume to UBS. luckily it was a UBS resume, but nevertheless a previous version. I sent apps to UBS, Barclays, and some other firm I can't remember. that shit is really mechanical now. I think of them as numbers rather than by name. Bank #4 or 5.

i decided today that I'm going to start taking classes that are useful and that interest me. this means that I wont be double majoring in OPIM. I don't think quizzes everyday or simply talking about a subject rather than doing it is at all practical. I'm going to start doing things the way I want to do them. professors have always told me in the past that if you don't want something put on the internet, well, then don't put it up. I hope this doesn't get out...not. music tomorrow.

I always give too much credit to producers. Sometimes I'm just disappointed when I find out that a producer sampled a previous artist. But hey, isn't creating new from the old an art in itself? Eventually there will be nothing left to sample, and all the samplers will be sad from sampling samples too much. The sampler was invented in the 80's. It's been downhill from there. Or not, depends how you look at it.

I went to 5 classes today and I'm not even registered for them. That's 6+ hours of class. Such is Add/Drop week. It's a buffet of knowledge. I have an appointment tomorrow to talk about my future with the people in the career center. They will hopefully give me some actual advice or guidance, unlike to people in MSB deans office.... Can you convince me to stay an extra semester next year? Let's see
This dj is in the OC tonight at Fury Lounge. My friend offered to fly me in on his G5 and stay at his small 18,000 sq ft house in Newport. I of course turned it down. Silly him, I don't stay at small houses.

I heard that the filth shut down the mickey avalon/dirt nasty performance at les deux on NYE. Goes to show that les deux...doesn't. If you do a search on youtube (or go to Perez Hilton's blog) for Shia Lebeouf, you'll seem him darting out of les deux as soon as the 5-0 roll up. The Transformers actor puts on his wheels and makes a run for it. He's the fastest kid alive. But anywho, guess what song you hear in the background while LeBeouf is getting railed by photographers? 1980!
